The Uflex Kit OB is a pair of 20 foot high pressure hydraulic hoses with preassembled ORFS fittings on both ends, for a single station installation.
Preassembled fittings are the reason to buy a kit rather than hose and ends separately. Hydraulic fittings crimped in a workshop are reliable; ones assembled on a dock are where leaks begin. A steering system that loses pressure loses steering, so this is not a place to improvise.
Twenty feet is the longer of the two common kits, suiting a larger boat or a run that follows the hull rather than crossing it directly. Measure the actual route including bends rather than the straight-line distance, since hose follows stringers and bulkheads like any other run. Explore more hydraulic hoses and fittings.
