Earthworm castings are a natural soil amendment and top dressing that enriches garden soil, potting soil, and planting beds. This 8-quart bag of Sun Gro Earthworm Castings provides gardeners with an organic way to improve soil structure and increase microbial activity. Use it as a top dressing mixed into soil or as a soil amendment to support plant growth.
The minerals and nutrients in earthworm castings are naturally water-soluble, meaning they dissolve readily in soil moisture and are quickly absorbed by plant roots. This makes them readily available to plants for faster nutrient uptake. Earthworm castings also enhance soil aeration and drainage while stimulating the beneficial microbes that help maintain a balanced soil ecosystem. OMRI listed for organic gardening, these castings are ideal for gardeners committed to natural, chemical-free cultivation methods.
