The Simpson Strong-Tie End Post Cap for 4x lumber connects wood members at right angles, helping resist lateral forces while eliminating the need to nail into end grain. The universal design removes the need for separate right- and left-hand versions and must always be installed in pairs.
- Constructed from 20-gauge Z-Max galvanized steel for enhanced corrosion resistance
- Universal design — no rights or lefts required
- Stronger connection than angled nailing or screw fastening
- Tested and approved for mitered end conditions
- Install with twenty-four 16d HDG nails (per pair)
