Rust-Oleum Stops Rust Hammered Paint is a brush-on, rust-preventative coating designed to protect and beautify metal surfaces without extensive surface preparation. The unique hammered texture finish provides long-lasting protection that seals out moisture and guards against corrosion, while covering imperfections in weathered or rusted metal. This oil-based formula applies directly over rust, eliminating the need to sand to bare metal or apply a separate primer.
Whether protecting exterior metal railings, gates, and weathered hardware or refreshing interior wood trim, this quart-sized container delivers a tough, durable coat that endures outdoor elements without peeling. The hammered finish creates a decorative appearance while solving the problem of preparing damaged metal surfaces for painting.
