The Rite Edge Large Stockman has polished stainless clip, sheepsfoot and spey blades on a slip joint, in the full-size stockman pattern.
Large is the size designation, and it matters more on a stockman than on most patterns. Three blades in one frame means a thick knife, and the large version gives enough handle to hold properly rather than pinching it. Three blades divide the work: the clip for general cutting, the sheepsfoot for controlled push cuts against a surface, and the spey for scraping without a point to puncture.
Each blade opens on a nail nick, held by spring tension rather than a lock. A polished finish shows the blades at their brightest and picks up fine marks with use, which is the trade a polish makes against satin. Explore more Stockman Knives.
