The Marbles Grandfather Mountain Set has a 3.75-inch matte stainless clip point lockback closing to 5 inches, with an orange finger grooved ABS handle, a lanyard hole, and a 2.63-inch waterproof stainless match case.
The match case is the reason this is a set rather than a knife. It is a sealed stainless tube that keeps matches dry in a pack or a pocket, which matters more than it sounds when a fire is the difference between a bad night and a dangerous one. Finger grooves molded into the handle give the hand a fixed set of positions, useful when hands are cold and grip strength drops.
Orange is a working choice on gear set down in leaves or snow, where a dark handle disappears. A lockback holds the blade with a spine-mounted bar, simple enough that there is very little to fail. Explore more Lockback Knives.
