It was a tough day… it is on days like this that she remembers her family and her mind races back to the time when she was just a baby, a time she was surrounded by love and laughter… She spends hours lost in those memories, the only thing she holds dear in life.
A heartwarming capture of a Sri Lankan toque macaque, an endemic species. She rests against a branch of a tree, far above the ground, fiddling with her fingers she day dreams… Her eyes speak of untold sorrow. A truly beautiful moment caught on camera by the artist.
