The Digital Yacht AISnet AIS Base Station is a dual-channel AIS receiver built for use at home or in the office rather than aboard a boat, with an ethernet socket that sends AIS data straight to an online tracking service.
Setup takes seconds using Digital Yacht’s own configuration program: register with a compatible tracking site, plug in the IP address and port, and AISnet immediately starts sending local AIS data across the internet to be displayed there. The included free SmarterTrack Lite software also lets the collected data be viewed locally on a PC over the USB connection.
A universal UK/Euro/US mains adaptor supplies a regulated 12V feed from 240V or 110V AC power, and the whole unit is designed as a simple “fit and forget” black box, needing only a VHF or dedicated AIS antenna (available separately) to get running. Explore more AIS equipment.
