The DeWalt DCS387D1 is a cordless compact reciprocating saw designed for cutting wood, metal, and plastic in both professional and DIY applications. This compact saw is ideal for working in tight spaces where a full-size reciprocating saw would be difficult to maneuver. The kit includes everything required to get started immediately: the DCS387 saw, a 2.0 Ah lithium-ion battery, a charger, a kit bag, and a D-handle for enhanced grip and stability.
The cordless design eliminates the need for a power cord, giving you freedom to move around your workspace. An electric brake stops the blade quickly when you release the trigger, adding a layer of safety to your work. The variable speed switch lets you adjust cutting speed to match different materials and applications for precision and control.
