The Cattlemans Cutlery Cowhand Trapper has satin 440 stainless clip and spey blades in a red G10 handle with stainless bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.13 inches.
G10 takes color right through the material rather than on the surface, so this red will not fade in sun or wear pale at the bolsters the way a dyed natural handle can. That matters more on a bright color than a dark one, since fading shows first where the tone is strongest.
The clip blade covers general cutting and the spey’s blunt tip suits scraping and skinning without puncturing what lies beneath. 440 stainless resists corrosion well and comes back to sharp without special abrasives. Explore more Trapper Knives.
