The C.E. Smith post guide-ons give you a clear marker for backing, loading and unloading your boat evenly. Loading straight helps you avoid costly damage to the hull and trailer. They are sold in pairs, one for each side of the trailer.
Unlike plastic guide-ons that break with little impact, these use square 16 gauge steel uprights. The steel is pre-galvanized for corrosion resistance, and 2-3/8 in diameter PVC posts slide over the uprights. The PVC takes contact without marking your hull.
The taller posts stay visible on steep ramps and deep launches where shorter posts go underwater. Mounting brackets allow 19 in of adjustment on each side of the trailer frame. Check your state’s maximum trailer width before installing. Shop our full lineup of trailer guides and bunks.
