The Bluewater 22mm Off/On Push Button Switch is a stainless-steel switch with color-changing LED illumination, rated IP69K.
Blue when off and red when on is the whole point of the color change, and it does something a single-color indicator cannot. A conventional lit switch is either dark or lit, which means an unlit switch at night is indistinguishable from a failed one. Blue backlighting confirms the switch is powered even when the circuit is off.
IP69K is a higher rating than most marine switches carry, covering high-pressure and high-temperature water jets. That matters on an open helm that gets washed down, where a lesser-rated switch survives rain but not a hose held close.
Twenty-two millimeters is the mounting hole size, which is a standard that several switch ranges share. A stainless-steel-plated metal body with the included gasket makes the seal, and a 4-foot lead is supplied for wiring. Explore more marine electrical switches.
