The Ancor Red/Yellow 10/2 AWG Flat Safety Duplex Cable is a 250-foot spool in a white common jacket, with Type 3 Class K stranding.
Ten gauge duplex covers the middle of a boat’s DC circuit list: larger pumps, windlass control, refrigeration and heavier accessory runs. It is the size to reach for when 12 gauge would be marginal over the distance, which happens more often than people expect once a run goes forward and back.
A 250-foot spool is a reasonable quantity for a boat with several of those circuits rather than a full rewire. The 400-foot version of the same cable covers a larger project.
Red and yellow follows ABYC safety coding, and the white common jacket makes the cable identifiable as safety-coded without stripping it. Type 3 Class K ultra-flexible tinned copper stranding resists corrosion, electrolysis, vibration and flexing fatigue, with insulation rated 600V, 105°C dry and 75°C wet.
